Discover our innovative construction process
Paneleco Construction Process
Discover how our structural panel system optimizes every stage of construction. From manufacturing to installation, it is an efficient process that guarantees speed, strength, and sustainability in every project.
1.
STAGE 1
FOUNDATION
The process begins with preparing a solid base: a monolithic poured slab that ensures stability, structural strength, and firm anchorage for the installation of the panels.
2.
STAGE 2
ANCHORING
Once the foundation is complete, anchor points are marked, and two to three 3/8″ rods (60 cm long) are placed for each Paneleco panel.
3.
STAGE 3
INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY
Once all anchor rods are in place, the Paneleco panels are positioned one by one. They are joined using mesh of the same gauge as the Paneleco steel; these pieces are connected with staples and pneumatic guns or simply tied with annealed wire.
4.
STAGE 4
UTILITIES (MEP)
System installation (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Voice & Data, etc.): All systems are located, the Paneleco panel is channeled (grooved), and the utilities are installed.
5.
STAGE 5
MORTAR APPLICATION
Once all systems are installed, the mortar is applied. It must form a layer 1.5″ thick and must be high-strength mortar.
6.
STAGE 6
FINISHES AND DETAILS
These are the same as those used in traditional construction, such as texturizers, cement-based plaster/stucco, mosaics, tiles, beams, etc.
7.
STAGE 7
FINAL PRODUCT
The result: a solid, light, and efficient structure, ready to receive finishes. A construction system that optimizes time, reduces waste, and guarantees durability, thermal comfort, and high energy performance.
Success Stories
From sustainable housing to large industrial developments, our structural panels have optimized costs, timelines, and performance across multiple projects. Meet some of our constructions that have made a difference.
SLAB SPANS (CLEAR SPANS)
The Challenge: In this project, the owners and architects challenged us to clear a span of approximately 15 meters without intermediate columns, without compromising structural integrity, and offering an unobstructed view of the horizon.
Our Solution: Reinforcement was placed in the roof slab using rods to simulate a beam from wall to wall. Since it is a panel system, we have the flexibility to assemble and support 100% of the slab.
- This process shortens timelines because it is assembled in a single step.
- Personnel can work and walk on the roof before it has been poured.
- Once everything is assembled, it can be poured in a single event, and formwork removal times can be reduced by an average of 80% compared to other construction methods.
EXPOSED BEAMS AND OTHER SHAPES
The Challenge: Paneleco allows us to build with diverse shapes in a flexible manner, adaptable to any circumstance.

RETAINING WALLS
The Challenge: In this project, the challenge posed by the owners, architects, and terrain conditions was to build retaining walls up to 4 meters high to contain the home’s entire foundation within a shortened timeframe.
Our Solution: Excavation is performed for the installation of a reinforced concrete footing with rebar. Rebar tips are left protruding from this footing to anchor the panel. Subsequently, the reinforced panel is placed, and screeds/rules are set to align the panel and allow for shotcrete/mortar application.
